Whitney | Whitney | Baldridge | Atkinson is seeking an associate to join our expanding practice.  Currently, our firm is the largest private law firm in Mohave County, with six attorney positions and offices in Kingman and Lake Havasu City. Our practice areas include, but are not limited to, criminal defense, family law, trust and estate planning, juvenile dependency, business formation, and healthcare defense and regulation. We also have an expanding civil litigation practice, handling plaintiff and defense cases involving personal injury, intentional torts, and lawsuits against government entities.

This is an excellent opportunity for a new attorney to gain trial experience, with opportunities to handle more complex cases as they progress, or for an experienced attorney to control their own case load, increase their income, and maintain an excellent work-life balance. 

Requirements

The open position would primarily involve, at least at first, the handling of misdemeanor criminal cases in the Lake Havasu City Municipal Court, and Kingman Municipal Court.  It would also include privately retained felony and misdemeanor criminal defense cases, family law work, and the possibility of a broad range of civil work depending upon interest and experience. The position will be salaried commensurate with experience, and any compensation package will include health insurance and a retirement plan.  While this position will require in-person appearances in the Lake Havasu City Municipal Court and Kingman Municipal Court one-to-two days per week, the person chosen would not be required to live in Kingman or Lake Havasu City with remote hybrid options available.Currently, the firm has cases in Mohave, La Paz, Yavapai, Yuma, and Coconino Counties.
